I Am

... and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM.

— Exodus 3:13, 14

There is One Infinite Spirit and every time man says “I am” he proclaims It.

I Am

If people truly understood the significance of the above two quotations, they would not utter such statements as the following: “I am not feeling well today. I am poor. I am unhappy. I am lonely. I am a loser. I am afraid.” Another misuse of the “I AM” power-package is, “Oh, I am feeling okay today, but you should have seen me last night! I was a mess!”

Don’t you see? When the words “I AM” are uttered, a decree is declared. When a man says, “I am getting a cold; it is going to last two weeks; I am going to have a fever with it,” etc ... he does not realize he is programming his body to react in just exactly that fashion. Or a woman states, “I am about to have my yearly hay fever attack.” She will probably not be disappointed.

However ... there was a successful millionaire insurance magnate who trained his salesmen to wake up in the morning and declare vigorously dozens of times, “I am happy! I am healthy! I am terrific!” They made fortunes, too.

Whenever you hear yourself start to utter a negative, “I am,” switch your system to P-I-A (Positive “I AM”) and consciously replace the thought with its affirmative opposite.

I am Divine Beauty.

I spread Divine Beauty where e’er I tread.

I radiate Divine Beauty on whom e’er I encounter.

I am Divine Beauty. I am Divine Love.

I spread Divine Love where e’er I tread.

I radiate Divine Love on whom e’er I encounter.

I am Divine Love. I am Divine Peace.

I spread Divine Peace where e’er I tread.

I radiate Divine Peace on whom e’er I encounter.

I am Divine Peace. I am Divine Beauty.

I am Divine Love. I am Divine Peace.

I AM!
