Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not,
neither do they reap, nor gather into barns;
yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.
Are ye not much better than they?

I’m a Millionaire
Have you ever been down to your last penny … when you go through your purse or your pants’ pockets just once more, hoping to find a quarter or even a dime you missed?
The other day I was in just such a condition, but I wasn’t disturbed. I knew that everything would be taken care of, and that God was the source of my supply. My mind traveled back a few years to the island of Kauai, where my son and I were living on $93 a month. On several occasions, we didn’t know where we would get our next meal. Sure enough, a neighbor would knock on our door holding a can of soup, a basket of mangoes, or some fresh-caught fish. Since then, I have learned to trust life, and we have never gone hungry.
To get back to the other day, my youngest son came home from school with an invitation to join the PTA. It cost one dollar. “Oh, if only I had a dollar to join,” thought I. “It would be so nice to join today.”
At that very moment he came back into the kitchen and said, “Here is a present I have been wanting to give you for a month, but kept forgetting about it.” He unfolded his hand and there, lying all crumpled up, was a one-dollar bill!
Thank You, Father, for taking care of my every need, be it one dollar or one million.
There is no big or small with God.
Amen!
