Because You Said So
When we are training to be Practitioners of Religious Science, we are taught to look through the facts straight to the Spiritual Perfection that never slumbers and never sleeps. Ernest Holmes tells us, “Anyone can help the sick who can get away from the effect long enough to perceive a different cause ... a perfect cause, back of what appears to be an imperfect effect.”
Last week I called the rehabilitation center. Robert answered. “Robert, do you need me to come in tonight?” I asked. Robert almost groaned, “Rainbow! You better come in! I’ve been sick for so long, I don’t know if I’ll ever get well! This has been going on for months and months!” Something came over me. “Robert! Tonight when I come in, you’re going to be perfectly healed! I’m praying for you as soon as we get off the phone!” I hung up and did a spiritual mind treatment (5-step affirmative prayer), knowing Robert’s physical perfection in every way, every sub-atomic particle, and every DNA molecule.
That night, I opened the door to the rehabilitation center, and Robert’s voice started screaming. “Rainbow! Rainbow!” I was taken aback. “Robert! What’s wrong?” “Rainbow! Rainbow!” he screamed again. “A few minutes after we hung up, I was totally healed! You said it would happen, and it did!”
Thank You, God for my freedom of choice!
