God Will Take Care Of You
Pat and her son David were moving to Honolulu. Before she was to depart, she had been unable to sell her car, and she didn’t have an airline ticket for her son. She called me the morning of her supposed departure. I asked her if she would like me to do a Spiritual Mind Treatment for her. Spiritual Mind Treatment is Science of Mind’s exceptional form of five-step affirmative prayer. She agreed. As I began to do the treatment, I noticed she had another call. “Excuse me, Rainbow,” she said. “Can I take this incoming call?” “Of course,” I responded, and continued in my meditative state.
Pat came back on the phone and said, “Rainbow, are ready for this? I just sold my car!” We rejoiced together and then I got back to my treatment. When I was about halfway through, she received a second call. “Excuse me, Rainbow,” she said once again. Finally she came back on the phone and said, “Rainbow, you won’t believe this! That was someone form the church and he works for an airline company here.” “Yes?” I responded expectantly. “Well,” she continued, “he was able to get David an additional ticket for only $50.
I was totally awestruck and humbled by that experience. What a blessing! The words of an old hymn kept running through my mind. “Be not dismayed what e’er betide. God will take care of you…God will take care of you, in every way, through every day. God will take care of you. God will take care of you.”
Today I know that no matter what challenges I meet, there is a Power for Good in the Universe, in which I live, move and have my being.
What a fantastic feeling to know that this Power is always available to me.
As I turn to it, it definitely turns to me.
This Power is not only the answer to all of life’s challenges but is also my faithful friend,
my noble guide, and my trusted servant.
