The White Light
Something just happened that I am moved to share with you. My heart still pounds with the wonder of it. Before I begin, I must say that each time I get into the car I surround myself, my passengers, and the car itself with the white light of God. I envision this light as a huge circle encompassing us.
Today I was driving home, when I heard a siren close by. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a police car two car-lengths behind me, lights flashing. All nearby vehicles stopped in a cluster and the police car couldn’t get through. Suddenly, a policeman emerged and began climbing onto the truck directly next to me. The driver of the truck pulled forward hastily and smashed into the car in front of him, then another policeman appeared and pulled the driver out of the truck. Several other crashes occurred around us, but somehow I remained calm. Since my car was at the head of all this chaos, when the signal changed, I quietly drove away and came home — the only car to emerge unaffected.
Last week, my friend, while driving her car, also surrounded herself with the white light of God. She became involved in a collision in which her automobile emerged looking like an accordion … that is, up to the driver’s seat! She escaped unscathed!
Yes! It is enough to bring God into your consciousness if you truly realize His presence.
And “He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee” in all thy ways!
Today I surround myself with the white light of God
and illumine the darkness with His Presence.
