Trust In God
I absolutely loved my silver Ford Festiva, Sylvia. Sylvia took me all over the United States. One day, she started acting funny. I took her to the car doctor. He said she needed a hysterectomy! I sadly decided to trade her in, so I went looking all over Austin and found a brand new lovely, cobalt blue Mazda that met all my needs. I named her Madeline. However, there were only two problems. I didn’t have a job and I didn’t have a down payment.
I had a little talk with God. “God, you know I must have my Divine Right Transportation, and my beloved Sylvia can’t provide that any more. I trust that You’re taking care of this need right now!”
The next three days were astounding! I went home and there, in my mailbox, was a letter and a check for $500 from someone thanking me for my Daily Guides. The following day, a friend gave me a check for $600. On the third day, I told the car salesman I wanted to buy Madeline. He asked me, “How are you going to pay for this car?” God’s inner power came over me and I answered, “I’m doing better now than ever before! I’m speaking and presenting workshops all over the country!” The salesman paused for a moment, looked at me, and then said, “Okay.”
All I can say when I think about the entire situation is: “Thank You, God!”
I totally trust in God. Every need is met.
I am supplied with everything I desire for a fulfilling and joyous life.
