“What Be F’ You Cannot Be Un-F’ You!”
In Jamaica, they have a saying “What be f’you cannot be un-f’you,” which means that if something is for you, there is no way that you cannot have it. It must be yours!
I asked a magnificent musician at a Religious Science church how he happened to end up at that particular church. He told me the following fascinating story. The minister and a group of devoted congregants and practitioners had been visioning (creative spiritual visualization) for the perfect church pianist, for they sorely needed one.
This went on for quite a while. At the very same time, the young man told me, he, himself, was praying for a music ministry where he could not only express his musical abilities, but could be fed spiritually as well. He felt he had a God-given musical talent not only as a pianist, but also as an improviser and arranger, and hadn’t used this talent for a long time. He had buried it under a bushel. This saddened and frustrated him.
One day, he was moved to take a different way home from work — a back way. He drove by the Religious Science church and it struck a chord. He was familiar with Religious Science, so he dropped in to the bookstore and liked it. He asked the secretary, “Do you know if anyone could use the services of a musician?” The rest is history.
I go forth in confidence this day, knowing without a doubt that all good is mine, all health is mine, all abundance is mine, and all fulfillment is mine, because
“What be f’me cannot be un-f’me.” And so it is.
